This title is misleading and at best, presumptuous. No where in the article did it state that the author spoke directly with the student in question and determined that the student was mandated to receive the vaccine at the point he did. In fact, the student received the vaccine earlier than his cohort-mates as he was part of the hospital’s volunteer program, and likely before the vaccine was mandated by the hospital system for their employees (which the student was not and at a time when many in-hospital volunteer programs were suspended). The title is more than just blah and lazy — it is false advertising and harmful. Do better.
